When is FOOD IL EXPO & KOSHER FOOD EXPO 2021 taking place?
The event is a 3-day virtual event, running from April 20-22, 2021. Time zone: GMT+2.
What time do exhibitor meetings start and finish?
Individual meetings and networking can take place between 10:00AM - 6:00PM GMT+2 on each day.
What equipment will I need?
You will need either a computer, tablet or smartphone with high-speed internet to access the event platform.
From which browser should I access the event platform?
We recommend using Google Chrome when accessing the FOOD IL EXPO & KOSHER FOOD EXPO virtual event platform.

How do I enable sound and video for a meeting?
All meetings take place on the platform so the use of your microphone is required along with your camera if you are happy to do so. When your browser asks to access the microphone and camera you will need to say yes and allow it access (camera and mic should be set to "allow").
Sound and video can be tested before you click on the "Join meeting" button by clicking on the respective "Test Video" and "Test Sound" buttons.
When you have joined a meeting, make sure your sound and video button is blue which means it is "on" and not grey as this means it is "off."
If you experience an issue with no sound during your meeting or if you did not allow your browser to access, go to the bar at the top of your window where you see the URL, click the padlock that you see on the right. This will pull up a pop-out window. You can then select "unlock" and give permission for your browser to use your camera and microphone.
File upload specifications
When uploading images or videos into your Virtual booth, consider the below suggested specifications. The virtual platform photo editor accepts many photo sizes and includes ability to resize, position and crop directly as you upload.
For optimal load time and performance, make sure your image files are RGB and 72dpi.
Logo: For the best display, we suggest at least 500 pixel wide by 500 pixels high at 72 dpi; .png, .jpg (Max. 25MB)
Product photos: For the best display, we suggest at least 1000 pixels wide x1000 pixels high at 72 dpi; .png, .jpg (Max. 25MB)
Video: Youtube or Vimeo URL. Files should be .mp4; 1080p resolution (Max. 80MB)
Marketing Content files: .pdf, .doc, .jpg (Max. 25MB)
How to login as an Exhibitor?
Once you have been approved as an exhibitor, you will receive a username and link to enter your company booth on the platform. You can now start updating your company profile, upload videos, pictures, product information, brochures, add team members, etc.

How to add products?
In your company profile, go to the Product Catalog" on the left hand side and new window will open. Click on "Add product" on the upper right side of the screen. You will be prompted to upload the product picture and description.
How to add a team member?
Participating Exhibitors receive access for team members from their company (based on their exhibitor's package). Each team member receives their own access and user profile, which allows them to:
Participate in virtual/video-based meetings, remotely from their own computers.
Schedule and lead virtual meetings for your company.
Interact with customers.

How do I search for exhibitors and products?
You can view the full exhibitor list by using the “exhibitor list” button on the top menu.
You can filter and search by exhibitor name and product categories.
You will also find recommended exhibitors in the “recommendations” section on the left-hand side menu, based on your interest.
How does matchmaking and requesting meetings work?
The matchmaking section allows you to browse a list of profiles that are recommended to you, based on the information you entered when entering your Company Profile. The profiles will appear from top to bottom in order of relevance; from the highest percentage match to the least. You can mark those profiles as "NOT RELEVANT" if this is the case. Or you can click on "FAVORITE", and those profiles will appear under your "Favorites" section on the left-hand side menu.
You can request a meeting from within the matchmaking section, by clicking on the 'Meet' calendar icon within the person's profile and sending them a direct meeting request.
How do I request and schedule an online meeting?
You can start setting appointments for our event when we will announce it. Appointments can take between the hours of 10:00 and 18:00 (GMT +2) each day, April 20-22, 2021.
To request a meeting with a visitor click the “Meet” icon on the visitor profile. This will open a screen where a new meeting request can be set up.
You can then send a message, request a meeting and schedule a time. The visitor will receive your request and accept it or suggest a new time.
How do I send and receive messages?
You can send messages to exhibitors and other visitors. Messages are accessed from the profile of the person you wish to contact.
Click on the 'message' button within their profile. A chat window will appear; you can type your message and click send.
The recipient will receive a notification indicating that they have received a new message, and they will be able to reply.
How do I favorite Visitors and Exhibitors?
Whether you are looking at the Matchmaking list or at other Exhibitor profiles and their products (all accessible from the menu at the top of the page), you only need to click on the 'star' icon, and their profile will be added to your "Favorites" section on the left-hand side menu of your account.

How do I collect leads?
Due to data protection laws, leads are not available for export. To get the best experience out of FOOD IL EXPO & KOSHER FOOD EXPO, we recommend that you request contact details from potential customers within the messaging feature or during meetings, so that you can follow-up post-show (the system will be available for one month after the event).
How long will I have access to FOOD IL EXPO & KOSHER FOOD EXPO?
The platform will be available for access one month post event dates (until May 20th, 2021).
